Castelnuovo Don Bosco Airfield

The airfield rises among the Monferrato hills, in Castelnuovo Don Bosco municipality, famous country of Saints and wines. Here was born St. Giovanni Bosco, to whom is dedicated the Sanctuary located in Becchi quarter (today named  Colle Don Bosco) where the runway has spread out.

Arrive by car:

 
From ASTI, TORINO:
Leave the motorway A21 at the Villanova D’Asti tollbooth.
At the roundabout take the first exit and follow the SS 10 Strada per Chieri for 6.5 km
Turn right in Via Padania Inferiore/ SP 120 and then turn right again in Via Buttigliera/ SP 120 and follow the course of the route for about 5 km.
At the first roundabout take the second exit and follow the route Variante di Buttigliera
At the second roundabout take the second exit and still follow the route Variante di Buttigliera
At the third roundabout take the second exit and follow the route SP 16/ Via San Giovanni Bosco for abour 300 mt: we are on the right!
